General lee,
These joint ventures are going to soon eat your lunch.

I think the TA under review will tighten them. (Scope was a big priority, not only RJs, but also codeshare/JVs) Also, do you think Delta would go to Italy this Winter as frequently as DL does in the Spring/Summer even if there wasn't a code share? I guess you don't mind money losing routes. Europe this Winter won't have as many travellers. But, being an INTL airline, you can always reroute some of your planes South during the Winter months, or add them to Asia which is doing better than last year.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Actually I was actually thinking the economy might have an increasing effect for a U.S. carrier. With the Euro at 1.27 and falling like a brick, I thought it might encourage some Ameircans to travel to Europe...although admitedly probably not until summer.

U foolish pilots.... Cant u see delta's plan....
Reduce quite a bit, then never increase it again, bc the joint ventures will be doing it, then guess what, too many pilots bc of decreased scope... Thats deltas plan, the pilots better figure this chit out real quick

Sure i could be wrong, but what if im not?

Now they'll have some 767's to put on those aby turns.
