Delta now has unlimited jumpseating for all carriers

This has just come down that Delta is now unlimited jumpseat, both domestic and international.

I am happy this has finally happened. For those who have exhibited patience, thanks for it.

All right I will say it. In this case, we WERE following Comair's fine example. Better late than never. I know that Jet Blue has also always had this. I dont' know about other airlines.

Sorry General Lee, but when it comes to jumpseat policy your airline was a junked out DC-3 rotting in South America to Comairs tubro jet CRJs.

How to get jumpseat in back w/o CASS

Ok, so we don't have cass just yet and the last 2 times I tried to jumpseat (in the cabin) on Delta, the agent says, "sorry, we already have a jumpseater." My reply, "yes, but you now have unlimited jumpseats" Agent, "but you're not in cass, so can't do it"

Is this true?
