Sinca3. I'm going to call a Delta Supv (a friend of mine) and see what the current rule is now. I'll post something tomm.

My wife is a gate agent for Delta in CVG. They would MOST definitely fill up first class with revenue pax to accommadate as many oversold revenue pax in coach as possible. There are always so many upgrades (medallions, inconvenienced pax, sky miles tickets, etc.) she says this is virtually never a problem and they will take of the revenue pax well before any non-revs. She says their whole goal is to get the rev pax out of their hair and out of there! If the flight is that oversold, then you best pray that some inbound flights with connecting flights cancel or just make alternate plans.

Are you s1,s2 or s3..?..(should be s2) .they will upgrade special privlage pax then full y fare pax to first ,and you'll get coach..if not oversold you would get first. They would never send a plane out empty. 47 avail seats/22 people getting on ..you make it do the math!
(Used to work counter/ramp for CHQ)
