Actually, the rumor is the 145 NWA DC-9's are in Area-51A getting a new technology engine modification and will be coming online in 2014.

Great rumor, and if this were true, these 9s could probably fly longer, along with some new avionics, than a new airframe .

MD88s and 90s are getting glass cockpits.

Was that the one during bankruptcy? The one where a judge decides? Maybe Gen Lee didn't have a choice? You keep leaving that part out, which isn't surprising.OYS

c'mon Jenny Lee, use some new reasoning cause this tired arse one won't hunt :D PUTZ!

Que the Deltoid Duo in 3, 2, 1.....

Kind of like Ace and Gary from SNL.

Back at ya Red...

That's why Jackholes like you and your skirt friend tanker troll these boards right?

Sorry, OYS was right. In BK, it's tough to say no to anything, especially if a judge is overseeing it. You really don't know what you are talking about. Did the DL/NW pilots allow any extra scope in the Joint Contract after the merger? Nope. You and Tanky Clown are wrong for the 1000th time. And Frisbee, you may need to hunt for a new job soon the way the Rjs are being parked. I think you'd be good at ramp cleanup, or airport gardening/landscaping. Go for it, and reach for the sky!

Bye Bye---General Lee

ooh mighty weak comeback there jenny you PUTZ!

of course you'd think Oy-Yo-Yo is right you putz.

you give Oy-Yo-Yo the night off eh

I hope mainline Delta pilots hold scope where it is!

Fuel prices will take care of the 50 seats and the whipsaw will end!

OYS

Check your facts - you sellouts last released 90seaters in 2007 AFTER emerging from BK that spring- and you gave it up for a biscuit to the widebody drivers. Face it- DALPA has historically led outsourcing in the industry. The last generation of DALPA pilots has been disgraceful- the current group seems to get the damage they did.

This time around our company is much stronger and at the same time wants the airplane. Plus, we already have low pay rates in our contract for these airplanes, except the C series and Sukoi. I believe the company will offer us something in order to outsource this airplane, assuming it is in fact a 100 seater. We shall see, but it looks better this time.
