Depends on what your background is.
Civilian and not part of WIA or OBAP, is at least 4000 hrs with major connections and 5000 with out. Some (500+) PIC turbine. This varies, but everyone in my class that was civilian had 5000 or so +. Some with good connections or had management office jobs at their previous carriers were less due to their job requirements.
Overall it has been at least 6000 hrs with a PIC
Military just mean the mins for that reason. This is why they have the low mins.
Anybody know the competitive Delta mins?
Depends on the person and what they bring to the table. At least 2000 ttl from what I am told.
One thing that most do not realize is that DAL types the OBAP and WIA people in the 737-800. It is like a pre interview. Most are very impressive. Most impress the FAA. Those are the ones that get hired. The ones that are not top notch are the ones that do not come on over as pilots.
Why don't other people get the 737-800 type? Seems real fair.
I was shocked when I got the interview email last week. Soon to be ex-Navy P-3 driver. TT 3023, TPIC 1749. Will be calling today to set up interview and looking for all available gouge, question banks. Cheers and Good luck!
I hear at least 5000 posts on FI.com. Minimum. At 8000 posts you're a shoo-in. I don't think I even meet the mins to apply, so I don't have the latest gouge.
