Delta lowers interest rate on bankruptcy loansMon Mar 27, 2006 4:09 PM ET
NEW YORK, March 27 (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines (DALRQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it received approval from lenders to reduce interest rates on the bankrupt airline's $1.9 billion in debtor-in-possession loans.
The change will cut Delta's interest rate on three term loans resulting in annual savings of more than $30 million, said Delta, and would cut the interest rate on financing from American Express.

Does that mean less money is needed from us??? Yes?

I think it just means Delta will lose less money in the future than they are right now. I still think Delta will still try to gouge the pilots out off pay and their contracts.

Losing less money sounds a little strange...kind of like "there will be no fighting in the war room".

I was kinda joking. They won't stop asking until we finally stand up and say no more.
