Not much to give back when you were doing the job for about half of what the legacy pilots were doing it for.

Not much arguement there however we are in talks for legacy carrier industry leading contract. We will be ahead of you southern folk.

You need to fix your system integration first. My buddy in DCA today said your gates and ticket counters were a mess, with lines and angry people everywhere. If this continues, and Parker gets arrested again, you will be unemployed.

Once again, I hope you all get well ahead of us. Something for us to shoot for in a few years. What is your opener for payrates on the heavies? Anywhere near the $300+ an hour DAL and United were at?

Were is the operative word here and I don't think in our career span we will see numbers like that again. I would love it but there comes a point where a contract is so rich that the company can't be competitive. The numbers and other benefits that I have seen has us above all the legacy carriers.

So, are your numbers indicating a rate equal to or above Southwest rates for narrowbody flying?

I like how you threw the arrest part in there. Classic! That will dog Parker for the rest of his career.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Parker's personal life has no effect on our pilots careers. Now I fully understand the mess with this new res system but attempting to lump that into our ability to survive OUT of BK is ridiculous...

Some mighty big bladders on this thread...

800,

Now, not knocking SWA rates because I feel that their contract is outstanding, FOR THEM!!! There are also other things in a contract outside of just payrates that are just as important. I like the fact of a uniform allowance and I like the fact that the company can't reassign me in the jetway after a trip! I like having crew meals. I like not having to work 6 legs a day. Now again SWA contract is great for them but it's not for everyone.

Now having said that, the numbers I have seen are better than all legacy carriers but those numbers have changed three times in the last few months.

I will ask again, are the rates you all are asking for higher or lower than Southwest rates?

I may be new to the forum, but not to the industru, and based on AWA's past payrates, there was not really much to give back was there?

Like I said before to someone else on here, you are right!! But that was then and this is now and now we are working on industry leading legacy carrier contract. I am more than willing to take the pot shots here and now but show me some love when my contract ship comes in...

I told you that the numbers keep changing and they keep doing that as a result of different things our negotiating committees keep finding. Rest asured though they will be better that DAL;)

Hi degree mill Bill. No ASSumption here. Just fact. Wouldn't you say Bill? Or did you change your name? Maybe you changed it just on here? Never bragged about my education. Just countering yours since you are so keen on bashing those who did not attend an institution of higher learning. The irony of your bashing and the fact you got your degree thru the mail is typical of your responses. And once again allow me to explain. 2 year community colleges don't offer letterman rings. I've explained it but it appears once again your degree mill didn't give you the proper education in the art of understanding. They certainly didn't offer you much in the way of spelling. Again my offer is still open if you would like to borrow my ring. However if you take me up on it I've also have a second requirement. That being you don't wear it on a chain around your neck. I know that's what you want to do but come on. Take care. CHA CHING!!!

No degree Steve:
While I am flattered by your offer, I am happily married, and not in to piercings. Now what you do in your private life with regards to hanging out in college locker rooms, and offering up your piercings to other men, is up to you, but really dude, you are really starting to FREAK me out dude. While I realize its your lifestyle, please keep it indoors....I'm sure your boyfriend wouldn't appreciate your talk like this.
BTW, thanks for continuing to prove my point.

Daquari Doug playing hardball? you should be used to that with your "handyman business"
Seriously WD, good luck in negotiations, my understanding is that Doug is going to play hardball for as long as he can and has even threatened to keep the 2 certificates separate for as long as he has to!

Quick question for ya. When you get a degree thru the mail do you have to pay for postage or is that included in the price you pay for the degree?

Well you answered my question. It's a shame that after you send them all that money they actually make you pay for the postage to send that degree back. What a shame. All I had to do walk across the stage and accept mine. No postage needed

Was your boyfriend there wearing your ear pearcing on his chain? Were you in uniform? Naaah, couldn't be, they don't do that for 2 year degrees at community college!

Thanks for continuing to prove my point Steven!

Playing hardball in business is just plain business!! I wouldn't expect it any other way. Doug stating that he could run two seperate carriers which will be one pilot group in June is just not gonna happen and this place will shut down in that respect, bet on that:mad:

LMAO what a retard. Your ring is way too small for 737 pylt's pinky finger. Sounds like your trolling the wrong message boards. Maybe you can sell your ring at a pawn shop and pay back your dues on the bath house.

Keep dodging the ? Very weak! If the rates are lower than LUVs, why? Hopefully, they will be more than just "better than DAL". You guys need to step up and fight for more than just sh***y pay rates plus1. Just saw your current rates on airlinepilotcentral. Nowhere to go but up. $160 for an A330 Captain? Why are your rates so much lower than bankrupt Delta's rates? Pathetic.
