I wish we had the aircraft to do the expansion Delta is doing. Had our CEO on the jumpseat a month ago from EWR to IAH and he displayed a bit of displeasure in not being able to deploy 787's on routes planed for 2009 now that the production line is yet again delayed. Good news is that we are getting some more 777's and they will be the big ones. Now, if only we could talk the company into keeping the classics a bit longer than the Summer we could keep from having to furlough this Fall!!! Glad to see Delta is going full ahead with the International expansion. They have the planes and the resources and anyone on here bashing them is just jelous if you ask me(which nobody seems to be doing). Good on you Delta! I hope we can do the same in 2010 when the widebodies finally start to arrive again!

Yo IAH,

We at AA could only be so lucky to have a mgt team that believed in keeping up with in'tl expansion! It's funny, AA just started ORD-DME service on June 2 with all this media hype, and on the same day DL announces 9 new int'l destinations, a fact not lost on some reporters ripping on AA.
