For all you Delta guys out there...
Do any of you remember flying the Guppy into South Bend, IN (SBN)?
This is where I live and grew up and what got me wanting to be an airline pilot was seeing that Delta 737-200 fly over my house numerous times a day, both departing and arriving. I used to get up around 630 every morning just to watch it fly over my house, and if I didn't get up it would sure wake me up, even though I live 7NM as the crow flys from the airport.
I used to dream of working for Delta and flying the -200 into South Bend, but things have changed, as they always do. I believe you guys quit flying mainline to SBN in 01 or 02.
If any of you have any good stories or memories of SBN, I'd love to see them!
