I heard that your FAs cant stay in the same hotels on overnights? Is this true? and why/how did this happen? If this is not true, then sorry for posting this question.
thanks

I think that the Delta Pilots are also not supposed to share the hotel van with other airlines. I was getting in the van in CMH one time, and the Delta captain said, " hey this is our van, we are not supposed to share with you guys". I told him to "get in or we will send him back in 10 minutes". We left him on the curb, and the van driver had to make a seperate trip.

in many cities the pilots and FAs stay in the same hotel. JAN, PNS, STL, MEM, BWI are all places I have stayed recently where the FAs were at the same hotel. However, we do have many places where they stay in different hotels. The reason is that they are non union. Our contract requires us to be in a "downtown" hotel for layovers longer than 12 hours. The FAs have nothing like that, so in some cities they do indeed stay in different hotels. For short layovers, I can't think of anyplace we don't stay in the same hotel.

We share vans with other pilots, and I have NEVER seen a fight or an argument in 10 years. I am sure there are isolated problems at every airline.
Bye Bye--General Lee
I have been left standing at the airport curb in the middle of the night after two Delta pilots slammed the van door in my crew's face.
