I did do a search...and have come up with confusing results so could someone please answer a couple of questions.

What is the deal with the 767 base (bases?) Is the 767-400 considered a completely different base with it's own reserve group and no possibility of interchange to the 767-300 or is it merely a premium pay position with it being "senior" through PBS bidding patterns of the pilots.
It might be helpful to list the possible bids for FO's, for example - here at Alaska we have

LAX - 737
ANC - 737
SEA - 737, MD80

I realize there are far more bids at Delta but a simple list may be helpful in understanding.

Also it has been rumored - probably only here - that Delta was looking at getting 737-600's. If that were to happen, is it now known if it would be flown by 737-800 pilots or would they create an entire new equipment position for only the 737-600 which is what is implied by many of the posts here at FI.

Thanks

ATL DAL the 767 is the 757/767 domestic. It pays the same. For the 767-300ER (international) it is a five and three dollar an hour override.

As the PWA is not the 737-700 and 800 have pay rates and are flown by the same pilots. If the 600 were to show up I am betting that it would be a new pay rate, but the same type.

In the 757/767 fleet there are:
757/767 in ATL CVG SLC LAX
767ER in NYC ATL
765 or the 767-400 in ATL LAX

The 757/767 category is mainly domestic flying with a little international to the islands, Central America and Canada. The 767ER is the international category to Europe, Africa and South America. The 765 or the 767-400 is a separate category and there is no moving between the categories with out bid and training. As far as the 737-600 I think it would be treated like the 737-700 and flown in the 737-800 category. However, this has yet to happen so who knows. Hope this helps
