I did do a search...and have come up with confusing results so could someone please answer a couple of questions.
What is the deal with the 767 base (bases?) Is the 767-400 considered a completely different base with it's own reserve group and no possibility of interchange to the 767-300 or is it merely a premium pay position with it being "senior" through PBS bidding patterns of the pilots.
It might be helpful to list the possible bids for FO's, for example - here at Alaska we have
LAX - 737
ANC - 737
SEA - 737, MD80
I realize there are far more bids at Delta but a simple list may be helpful in understanding.
Also it has been rumored - probably only here - that Delta was looking at getting 737-600's. If that were to happen, is it now known if it would be flown by 737-800 pilots or would they create an entire new equipment position for only the 737-600 which is what is implied by many of the posts here at FI.
