No, I've heard it before, in all combinations: all your base are belong to us, all your routes are belong to us, all your aircraft are belong to us, etc. etc.

I figured it was from a computer game.

More mainline domestic planes are on the way (used MD90s from China is the current rumor, around 20 or so, and some will go to SLC and take back some RJ routes), and more 50 seaters are on the way out. I would think that would be great for revenue generation, and it would help nonrevs get on. Getting rid of 50 seaters that are unprofitable is a good thing. But, you never mentioned that part.

Why didn't DALPA get a reduction of 50 seater as a quid pro quo for giving in on relaxing the scope?

Beacuse the 50 seat RJ problem is going to take care of itself in the near future.
