Come up with whatever fool justifications you wish, Gen.... These sure are some big-ass RJs you are outsourcing.

-Keep right on whistling by the graveyard.... Just let them keep parking DAL airplanes whilst the Frenchies keep right on flying ones your sorry butt should be in!

-Perhaps you should check out some of the other "scary" threads dealing with the fact that NWA bought control of Midwest and outsourced all their flying to Republic. Obviously, this is a blatant test of scope-but you are too stupid to recognize what RA is trying to slide into somewhere uncomfortable. Just keep marching right on along, like a good little pawn...

-P.S.- You never addressed Peaknuckle's question: Why are they not flying this with 767 freighters? There really ARE 767 freighters out there-hell DAL is parking 767s all the time!

Well, the NWA Cargo certificate (part of the NWA certificate) does not have 767s listed, so we would have to get that done. We would also have to get a supplemental type certificate to fit a cargo door on the 767s. It was talked about for awhile actually, but then oil went to $140 a barrel. If you look at UPS and FedEx, they are both parking planes (FedEx---10 A310s, and some DC10s, UPS--DC8s and 742s) so worldwide freight is not what it used to be. The AF/KLM/Martinair planes are a lot newer than our planes (more fuel efficient), and are already flying the North Atlantic as we type. So, as long as they do not fly the routes our planes flew or use our slots at NRT, then I don't see what the fuss is. It would be nice to get some newer cargo planes and use them on joint North Atlantic routes, but it would take awhile. Maybe it will happen. Also, maybe we will park more RJs---maybe all of the 50 seaters. That would help this industry too.

Bye Bye--General Lee
