Its too bad a'holes like you find joy in someone losing their job! If you ever had to endure the hardship of a furlough you would understand that and shut your nut drainer now!

Real nice. No need to put down others over the failure of your company. You work there. They don't. It's your problem, not theirs.

I think some of those 738 deliveries are now for 2008-09.

General, the numbers I quoted come from the TOC web page and are accurate as of February 25, 2006. There are some other aircraft on firm order beyond January 2009, but the TOC web page only lists firm delivery dates for the next threee years.

It is a simple question because you aren't capable of asking any thought provoking questions.

Well you seem incapable of answering a simple question, why should I embarass you with a more thought provoking one?

Regardless, enjoy the new 70s you bought with your concessions for jets agreement. You are still getting them aren't you, or did you give up on them in your last round of concessions?

Um, ok. Let's see, you have 16 posts and 10 of them slam either Delta or Airtran. Me thinks Chuck Yogurt and Lawman are back as Einstein.
You really should seek some help about your obsession with those 2 airlines, or make it a lot less obvious when you post!

What's with the Comair obsession? This thread is about DL mainline capacity reductions and both you and FDJ2 bring up Comair. Pretty childish.........[/quote]

why not mention Comair? They are owned by Delta, although i know delta would like not to remember that.

For FDJ2 and PYLT to call me names is a joke. You 2 are the most bitter people I have ever seen on this board, as for the General his comment about put downs is what it is, a pathetic attempt to reassure himself of the great leadership over at Delta.(NOT). I lost my job at CMR because of the stupid people at Mother Delta and do not wish that on anyone but you want to talk about A$$ Hole$ just look at a mirror and you will see the #1 and #2 A$$ Hole$ on this board. (FDJ2 and PYLT). UBA757

Which Stupid people at Delta are you speaking of??? If you are going to say the pilots, that's where I'm going to jump in the fight and say you are WAY out of line......

Nice rant. Uba757, you start off your tirade stating that I called you names. I challenge you to back that up. All I did was state that you were wrong and then backed it up with some facts.

If you can't, then I expect an apology.

Bitter?? LMAO! I'm not the one who lost his job. And I am REAL sorry you lost yours. I might lose mine, so might everone at DAL. You lost your job and call me bitter! You are clueless! I call you names because you are wishing someone out of work. If you lost your job at CMR then you, of all people, should feel sorry for someone going through a possibility of a furlough, wondering if they're going to have a job, support their family. If that's not the case, they your flaim bait is just a lame attempt at trying to piss someone off, and in that case you are an ass!

Bill, Not the pilots is the suits in Atlanta that I am talking about.
FDJ2, Instead of worring about CMR, worry about mother Delta. Not one suit knows what the F--k he or she is doing. Those deliveries will change a couple of more times before Delta is out of BK. If I offended you I apologize.
Pylt, You are a bitter man. I don't wish on you anything that you have not wished upon every CMR pilot you have ever seen or spoken to in this forum. You have hoped for the demise of CMR for a long time. Just remember that what goes around comes around. You are just an A$$ hole and that will never change so we will leave it at that. UBA757

You call me bitter, when you are in fact the one who lost his job and is blaming DL management! When have I EVER wished the demise of a cmr pilot?? Maybe the rjdc! You are a miserable bitter little man! I am sorry you lost your job, but wishing someone out of work is just plain wrong! I think its funny that you say what goes around comes around....I don't ever remember the DL pilots not supporting the hiring of any cmr pilots! I called you an A'hole because of your gloating over the fact someone might lose his job, and for THAT I apologize!

Nah...waiting for the 79 seaters that are coming down the pipe once Grinstein has his way with you.

The more you post the more I realize you are getting exactly what you deserve.

How much more are you and your buddies going to give up in pay for the 79 seaters? You've shown a proclivity over at CMR for giving it up for growth.

BTW, are you CMR pilots paying assessments to pay the COBRA premiums of your furloughed pilots?

We learned from the best....you. You guys give up massive concessions and you don't even get a promise of growth. In fact, every time you give up pay, management retires more of your planes.

SJS I presume? You gonna fly it with one hand?

Actually, if you looked at my previous posts, I would be the first to say that anything greater than 70 seats should go to mainline. However, given the behavior of pilots like FDJ2, my mind has started to change.

It is true that we gave concessions in order to meet a liquidity crunch, but you on the other hand bent over just for the shiny new jets. You see MedFlyer, we gave in order to survive, you whored out for the jets.

Enjoy those E jets management rolled out on your ramp just prior to your willingly bending over? You are still getting them aren't you? I bet you they were really, really big and shiny and made you feel like a real jet pilot.

Management's just waiting for you to pay for them with your concessions. You paid for the last 150+ jets, why not more? Of course, the jets may not go to Comair...they may go to ASA, SkyWest, Mesa, etc. Either way, your management team knows you are willing to take cuts to help subsidize all the regional affiliates.

LOL. MedFlyer, you're beginning to crack. We did give concessions in December 2004, but I wasn't aware that you got 150+ jets since then. Thanks for the info and good quote though.

How much more are you willing to concede to get in those shiny new jets MedFlyer? Dance for the man Med, you guys should be use to it by now. I'm sure bending over for growth gets easier each time you do it.

FDJs, General, and 737puppet,

You guys and ALPA created this mess. Now we all have to do what is best for each of us. I personally believe that the DCI carriers will end up with everything up to 100 seats. If given the chance, I will fly even bigger airplanes if it benefits me. I don't care about you guys as you don't care about me.

I'm sure you would know.....you've already given two rounds and are headed for a third.

We did give concessions in December 2004, but I wasn't aware that you got 150+ jets since then.

Remember that concessionary contract back in '96? Management used those concessions to purchase ASA/Comair and buy up tons of new RJ's. Managements been using you for a decade now to help buy planes for other airlines. You guys just haven't been smart enough to figure it out.

Sorry Medflyer, we didn't bend over for growth. Too bad you can't say the same.

Really, you want to tell me how much those concessions were worth and how many RJs they could buy? I didn't think so. Thanks for playing Medflyer, now go pretend you're in one of those shiny new jets you were promised. They sure are big.

We don't have the votes to allow that. ALL of the FOs and half of the Captains will vote NO to anything allowing more than 70 seats, PERIOD. And, if we go down, so will you. See you at Wendy's! I will be the Day manager, and you can do the late shift.........

Bye Bye--General Lee

A third round? Maybe, but not even close to what they are asking for. I keep bringing this up and it makes sense. Ready? Management and the Creditors want money. For themselves. Yes, and the way to do it is to do just like UAL---get through this BK process and then float some stock and take a bunch and then buy big homes. Sounds great. Except, you can't do that when the pilots won't agree to terms and then strike and everything stops. That tends to ruin things. So, in the end they will bend so they can become rich. Got it yet? The last pay give a way was TEMPORARY, to give us more time to ramp up for what we have always known is next---going to arbitrators and then hard nosed negotiations with the company, leading to an agreement that saves us all face---and scope.

Bye Bye--General Lee
