Delta and Jetblue Merger Announced

Maybe not BUT Delta and JB have worked out an unlimited jumpseat agreement. As a commuter this is an exceptional announcement. I truly thank the Delta Pilots who have worked with their jumpseat comittee to get this passed. Thanks Guys!!

Attention Delta jumpseat riders,

Thanks for your patients, effective immediately we now have unlimited jumpseats on Delta! See message below:

“I am pleased to announce that as of 1731EDT JetBlue pilots may now enjoy unlimited jumpseats on Delta Air lines. A new reciprocal agreement will follow soon to reflect the status change. However, you are in the database now. It has been a long road and I very much appreciate the generosity of JetBlue in carrying our guys when we could not reciprocate.

The problems are that they don't have the right program for the gate agents up and running yet. There were 3 of us on the 6am JFK/ATL this morning and she was not able to pull up all the CASS info. No pics. Was able to get the passport number but that is all. One Capt had a copy of the email from the Delta J/S coordinator but still would not put him on because of the program not working. Captain came out after I had gotten on and came back with the other. #3 was able to pass ride due to being furloughed DAL. Hope they get the word out to the gate folks and the IT issue fixed soon!! Thanks Captain Bob for getting us all home!
