It is the same test that they used in 01. It is not something that you can study for. It is designed so that they can test your ability to learn and fly. Not so sure it does that, but they say so. I know a few people that have not made it through that are great pilots. Basically if you fail it do not take it personally.

BTW does anyone know if anyone has been turned down after their conditional offer? IE Psyche or medical.

Piedmont use to give a psych test. They'd give you a printed card with the names of colors printed in another color ink, and ask you to read the color (harder than it sounds). Then they'd make you do it again and ask if you thought you did it any faster.

Hahahah... I had the same test at Island Air. I was laughing. Maybe I'm insane...

I also hear that Aloha has that test too, though having come from Island Air, I was exempt from it. Thank God! Maybe my reaction would have been different.

Then they put ya in the first flight training device ever made and had you "fly." The interviewer said something like, "The RMI doesnt work well, and the heading on your compass is 7 degrees off, are you ready for a NDB approach clearance."
