Our union sucked during that time but as many of the SWAPull junkies state that ship has sailed. just supplying information that is easily attainable. You may want to try that sometime. Yes . . . How terrible! We went from 30 or so crappy, -300 style airplanes in 2000, to a fleet of over 135 fuel-efficient, new or newer airplanes in 2010, most of which were leased, while we quadrupled our cash position, and paid off debt.

What a house of cards! We're so lucky you bought us, and saved us from our profitable self.

Which reminds me . . . . there is one drawback to the 717 . . . the pilot seats are about as comfortable as a park bench, and while you might not get bum buts, you'll definitely be in for some numb butts. . . . A good portion of our 717 pilots can be seen lugging some sort of memory foam ass protector along with their luggage. Hopefully, DAL pilots can get a more comfortable seat bottom as part of the refurbishment.
