DT,

Yep, Worthless is with NWA. The few NWA guys I know all think he's an imbecile.

Not sure if PDT has signed on to the BS, but I wanna say that I wish I were at ALG. There's something to be said for integrity and doing the right thing, even if it isn't the easy thing to do. If I run into any ALG guys anywhere, First round is mine. Keep the faith.

Thanks again to those of you who got it... I didn't ask for anyones speculation as to my motives nor am I inclined to share each detail of my situation with an open forum..... I asked a simple question and received some very good simple answers and a couple of self-richeous opinions... I don't need your endorsment, approval or love, I wish you well.....

You must be joking

Ok, your the head of ALPA.

How much dues do the USAirways Pilots Pay and how much do the Allegheny Pilots pay????

Got the picture!

My recomendation is DUMP ALPA!

or quit whining it ain't going to change!!! EVER!!!

www.noalpa.com is a good place to start.

Host, read "Flying the Line." We (regional pilots) are not about quitting, or whining. This is about what ALPA was inteneding to do for our profession, and unfortunately where they are going askew currently.

To leave ALPA would change nothing and not help our profession in heading toward a National Seniority Roster. "There will be no second class citizens" sound familiar... guess what, if J4J is signed, it will continue a trend to show that there is second class citizens at ALPA. The amount of dues we pay does not/ should not reflect our position within our union.. we are all professional pilots, that is what we are.

Host,
Please tell me where within ALPA it states representation is based on the amount of dues you pay.

Every ALPA member contibutes 1%(give or take a few percentage points) of thier yearly salary for dues. Obviously, the more you make, the more you contibute in dues.

How did it go?

So how did the picketing go?
Did you guys get any attention?
Newsmedia?
Was there any corporate-brass from US Airways there?
Did Duane come down from on-high to speak with you?
How many pilots showed up?
Did any furloughed mainline pilots show up?

Exactly My Point

Until you are ready to dump ALPA your STUCK!!!!!

ALPA is part of the AFL-CIO. Big Bucks.

ALPA is all about $$$ it adheres to the golden rule. He who has the gold rules.

ALPA's cash position is over $100,000,000.00

They don't care about:

A National Seniority List
Standard Pay Rates
Standard Work Rules & Working Conditions
Professional Standard
Job Protections
Standard Benefits Package
etc.

What they do care about is:
Protecting Dues Income
Protecting The Companies That Employ the Dues Paying Members
Assuring Legislation that will insure the first two continue to happen
Pacifying the rank and file
Furthering the AFL- CIO agenda.

Again if you are not happy with ALPA you need to support

As posted on the Unified Voice

FA,

I read this through my ALPA website. It was all ALG people and one guy from ACA had the stones to show up and do the right thing. From what was posted, there were no PDT, PSA or furloughed U people anywhere to be found. As for numbers or answers to the rest of your questions, I don't know. So much for unity.

P.S. Thank you Allegheny
