The difference between the Falcon 10 and the Falcon 100 is basically just avionics... They share the same pilot type rating (DA-10)

The differences between the Falcon 20 and Falcon 200 are tremendous...
Different systems (the 200 has basically the Falcon 50 systems)
Different engines Falcon 20 has GE CF700's (up to 4,500 lbs of thrust in the 2D2 version), the Falcon 200 has the Garrett ATF-3 engine (5,200 lbs thrust)
Wing is different
200 MGTOW is 32,000 lbs vs. the 20's MGTOW of 28,660 lbs.
Different pilot Type Rating.

Here is an article I found after typing all of the above... http://www.pocketprotectors.com/atf3/F200.htm

Da-200

I would think the 200 is pretty sporty. The ATF3 may not have been that durable but it did make decent power and we carried lots of extra weight in the HU25. Anyone know how many 200s are still flying?

MT

33 produced, 33 still active. 0 Written off.
25 operated in the US, 8 outside. Just in case you are wondering there are 6 for sale.

There are some perks to being a broker... some not many.

any chance you can find a list of the ones for sale cause the company i work for is looking to get ride of their lear 35 for a falcon 200

Your company would be a lot better off getting a 20 with the retrofitted TFE731's, my understanding is that the engine on the 200 the ATF is originally an engine produced for the military (Coast Guard) and they are expensive to maintain. Carl Muhs at Mid Michigan aviation at MBS is a true Falcon Guru and I would suggest talking to him before you settle on a paticular Falcon,I have heard some mixed reveiws from FA200 operators as being maintence hogs kinda like early Citation 3s.

VERY TRUE... Plus I have heard that the Coast Guard pretty much has all the spare engines tied up, so getting parts or a loaner engine would be VERY difficult...

Either get a Nice Falcon 20F retrofit (with the 5B engines) or get an early Falcon 50...
