ATLANTA Apr 7, 2006 (AP)— The pilots union at Delta Air Lines Inc. ordered members to clear their lockers Friday in anticipation of a possible strike the union says is "becoming more likely every day."

The union said removing the items will prevent senior executives at the nation's third-largest carrier from blocking access to the equipment by a lockout.

They certainly know how to play the game.

That they do, it will be interesting to see who flinch!

Give 'em hell DALPA!

Good luck Delta pilots!!!!

Buenas suerte. Hoping for the best for all you Delta Dawgs.

Good luck you guys!

And a quote from Gladiator that seemed appropriate in this situation... "What we do in life echoes in eternity." Replace "eternity" with "history", and I think it describes DALPA's situation.

I got into this industry because of the potential to work for a carrier like DAL... I'm glad to see you guys taling a stand to keep the dream still somewhat alive.

My guess?

DALPA will win this one.

Why?

Management has more to lose than the pilots.

The sad thing....its always been this way. It has just taken this long to figure this out. Many unnecessary pay cuts.

....

Glad to see some unity in this crazy industry. Your fight and sacrifice will benefit us all in the long run.

Thank you!!!!
Andy

Didn't DAL pilots already give up $1 billion in cuts? Unless I am crazy. Yet in every article as of late the papers only mention the addt'l $325 million and not the $1 billion already given. Am I correct with the $1 billion?

Good luck guys and gals
