I could always hang on to my stock and see what happens.....nah, that won't work I already superglued my shotgun to my forehead.

What's to spin...they're all yapping about the quartly report that came out frigin' last month! Not enough PR Newswires coming over the yahoo deal so let's write some more crap about Delta. Nothing that came out today is new, so let's review:

March 31 Delta reported a big @ss loss.

Media reports sky falling.

A MONTH later the media actually reads the quarterly report.

Media reports the sky is falling at a more rapid pace....

Bot-t
+m line is DAL needs the pension legislation to pass (call your senators and congressmen BTW...easy link on the ALPA site, takes 2 minutes to support these bills) , or is BK here we come.

Bill passes, BK still might happen, but at least DAL has a fighting chance. So far only 40% of the cost cuts have been implemented. Once 2006 rolls around and the rest of the cost cuts are in place, basically it's up to the fuel price to see if DAL management has half a clue.

The thing I wonder about is why isn't the sky falling at CAL (who is also morgated to the hilt), or NWA (who until last month didn't see a fare raise they didn't want to cut off at the knees), or AMR (who's sky was falling this time last year)?

I guess DAL is just an easy media target right now.....
