So how do they deal with pilots who've tats up the forearm or stick out from the bicep?

Unlike several other airlines, Delta most likely has not hired people who would have visible tatoos like that. I saw a Spirit pilot with a very visible tatoo on his arm in FLL once. Interesting guy..

We have a few with some shoulder to wrist tats - really. Probably got them after being hired. Including a girl. I was so turned off by how unprofessional I thought it looked I actually went and spoke to one of CP's to see if they were required to wear long sleeve shirts.

Turns out the FOM covers just about everything from Viagra use to nipple rings to assist animals in the cabin (everything but monkeys - has to be a story there), but nothing on tats - or sex changes :cartman: .

On of the few things I do remember from my Be1900 days was that we were allowed to bring 16 service monkeys. Why that still sticks out in my head, god knows....(probably the vision of 19 pax with 17 lapchildren and 16 service monkeys all on one plane)
