It is years of service. So, if you upgraded on your 1 year anniversary, you would go on 2nd year captain pay.

Standards captains go up 6k... check airman 8k.

Hope that helps.

So would a four and a half year captain get four year pay or five year pay? There seems to be some confusion on this.

Your an idiot Humphrey Bogart. Lets put it in simple terms....if NJA didnt get this TA and the subsequent pay raise that comes with it, you guys wouldnt either. If it werent for this MEC (compared to what our previous MEC called a pay raise), this entire fractionsal industry would have been stuck at a lousy base pay scale for the next 5 years as a minimum.

All too often we seem to run into cocky and arrogant pilots as yourself. After reading your little piece here, I guess I learned that you seem to be the best pilot out there. Thats great dude.........I'm glad for you.

You can thank the MEC at NJA for YOUR pay raise too rather than bitching about unions.

Don't forget about the pilots at NJA.... We are the straw that stirred the drink so to speak..

It is just like any airline contract based on years of service. On your hire date, you start 1st year pay even though you have been there 0 years. So, on your first anniversary date, you go on 2nd year pay.

Doesn't matter what seat you are in. If you have been with the company 4 1/2 years, you will be on 5th year captain pay. On your 5th anniversary, you will start 6th year captain pay. A PM clarified it as years of total service with the company.

Hope that helps.
