CRJ's getting grounded?

Anybody here this as well? Just got a call from a buddy said CRJ's are getting grounded at outstations? Something to do with "a protective sleeve and the IDG" Im off today just wondering if anybody has anymore detail. Sounds like the FAA is visiting everybody's MX.

It's true. Happened to me today.

My nap was just canceled and "upgraded" to a 700, they claim it was because the captain called in sick... seemed healthy when I got off a flight with him this morning... he said "see ya tonight"...

dont think this is affecting asa, at 7pm our a14 shows 94% and completion 100, thats got to be a record.

I had a MX guy come out just as we were about to push with a full airplane and get on the headset to tell us that because we had a newly painted airplane that he had to measure our tail # to make sure they were the correct size. Said it had just came from the FAA and if the size was wrong, we couldn't fly the airplane

Just got called by scheduling 4 a trip faa grounded 11 asa planes dont know why though
