Does anyone know what new procedures were added to the current Stab Trim Runaway QRH?

No changes to ours, at least not yet.

What brought this on? Usually those sort of AD's have some sort of an origin.

What are the changes?

I'm not sure about the rest of the QRH since I don't have that here in the hotel room, but the Immediate Action Item for Stab Trim Runaway changed from :

STAB TRIM DISC............Select

to

STAB TRIM DISC.............Press, hold, and release

Something to do with two problems in the Challenger 600/604, and evidently since the trim systems are identical, so is the AD.

Have you seen the new one regarding the stab trim if it fails without a caution message, the qrh says to just engage stab channel 2?

Apparently there have been a couple Challenger events (same HSTCU) where as I understand it water is getting in the stab trim computer and causing a runaway. Something about not coating the circuit boards in the computer to prevent water from shorting some circuits. Keep in mind this box lives close to the utility bus contactors that were lighting up because of water coming thru the floor at the entryway.
I didn’t look that close but I think I did see pulling circuit breakers added to the procedure.
I’d say you better be familiar with the location of those breakers, because by the time you grab the QRH and look up the procedure that directs you to pull a couple breakers because the disconnect command isn’t fixing a runaway, you will probably be at the full nose up or down before you get the book out and find the procedure.
