I much prefer the EMB 190 jet for looks and comfort but for similar seating and economics this airplane will be hard to beat. It will weigh 25,000 pounds less than the its similar EMB counterpart and 15% better operating economics. My pet peeve is that I still cant stand up completely in it and the overhead bins compared to the EMB or 717 are weak. Oh yeah it still feels like a corporate jet too;)

Are you KIDDING ME? I have been on the "pencil jet" and there is NO WAY the ERJ is more comfy than the CRJ 700!

I think he is talking about the 170/190 E-jets not the 145's. There is no comparing the E-jets to the stretched CRJ. The E-jets are WAY more comfortable. Personally, I think the E-jets are even more comfortable than coach on the B-737. The only reason one would buy a CRJ-1000 would be for the price and economics, not for customer preference.
