Anyone listen to Crew News on thehub?

Although I wasn't too happy about what Doug said, I do appreciate his frankness and don't think he is lying at all.

what do you guys think?
 
Are you refering to Parker's "The days of getting paid more to fly bigger airplanes are over" remark in August?

Yea.... He did say that there is a pay difference between Narrow and Wide body aircraft..... How about length? Jeezz.. RJ's are getting longer and longer. I guess it is true, It pays to have 'Girth' instead of length!!! :-D

He did say piddly crap cat and dog colgan has nothing too worry about because they don't care aobut us. I actually was comforted by that comment.

yeah that is what he pretty much said. I guess until all the pilot training mills fall off and the pilot pool dries up we will never see better working conditions.
 
Unless you demand to be paid for making more money for the company. You can always strike. Doug may want that, but we all have desires.

I wonder how long it will be before dougie joins the ranks of such great airline leaders as Lorenzo, orenstein and wolfe and screws the rest of us over so that he can build a new summer house.
