Crew Hotels In BWI

Staying in BWI over weekend what are good crew hotels??

When I flew for US Airways, our layover hotel was the Crowne Plaza. Very nice hotel, and a great location -- about 2 or 3 blocks from the inner harbor.


Have no idea about crew discounts -- if it is a crew hotel, maybe they give a decent airline discount?

BWI hotels (SWA discounted)

I've stayed at the Microtel, the Wingate, the Ramada, and (once in a pinch) the Red Roof Inn (blargh). Seems like most guys stay at the Ramada, as it had good van service and was about as good of a SWA discount as I could find. I believe it was $59 plus tax. Call ahead to make sure they have room and can give you the discount. Sometimes all the hotels fill up, due to stuff going on in DC.

The Ramada is disgusting!

The Wingate is very nice.
