I bought some beer in Texas that I can't get at home, is there any limit on liquids for pilots passing through TSA checkpoint. I am jumpseating so checking the bag is not an option.

I have carried two Nalgene bottles of margaritas, 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne thru security whilst in Uniform on the way to a cruise. I think a 6 pack is doable.

Can't argue with a word like "whilst".

I use to pick up a case of wine while visiting family and jumpseat it home without anything besides odd looks. Make sure you watch the expression on the guy who's watching the images on the belt. It's priceless....and then equally priceless when you say, "Yeah, that's mine".

I go to europe almost every month. I bring home anything from french/italian wines to pony kegs of german beer during Oktoberfest. Also cases of rum from Guyana at $2.00 a bottle is nice. The look on the Xray operators face is priceless when they see this stuff!!
