I saw an ad on Planejobs posted today for a new regional, yet unnamed, but going by CQ Air. If you go to www.cqair.com they are looking for flight crews. Look under Captain or FO and under essential job functions one of the requirements is high level of knowledge of the Pinnacle Airlines GOM. Does anyone know the deal with this place? Supposedly starting ops in April 2006.

The Website is registered to Steve Pierce. Ring a bell anyone?

Their website had a not to pilots that said if you had a DUI you had to obtain a canadian wavier, so maybe it's a canadian carrier.

CQ sounds like they plan on having a flight or two into Canada and Canada has a requirment for a DUI waiver for new carrier pilots

Most of the pilot pages are cut and paste from the nwairlink.com pinnacle page. The only changes are email adds. and documents required.

I'm not familiar with Steve Pierce....could someone please shed some light on him. The website doesn't say too much about the operation, but I had spoken to someone who had spoke to someone in their HR department, and they had some decent things to say. I'm not really sure what to make of it, but with the state of the industry, anything's possible. Who knows!?!?!?
