Don't forget to factor in cost of lawsuits from everyone that jumps down the slide and hurts themselves.
If it was done out of impatience and not an emergency I would think the airline would be liable and probably the pilot too.
 
8 hours on airplane without water or lavs. I could consider that a possible emergency.....single file line, real slow now.....jump. Can't tell me, that capt couldn't come up with something in the 7 hours sitting on the ground....really?!?!?!?

I just hope it was a hardtime trip... with the clock still running!!!
 
Soooo as captain, give your blessing to popping open the slide and telling pax they're free to leave - down the slide - into a blizzard and a foot of snow - at night - on an icy tarmac. Good luck with that.
