Good luck, my friend. I made that jump, but found that Atlanta is a hard scene to crack in to.

Flightworks at RYY has been quite rceptive to post 121 guys.

www.flightworks.com

Good luck!

Yes, they are, and certainly apply if you are interested, but FlightWorks is not corporate, it is 135 Charter/Management. Most people already flying 121 would prefer to stay there over changing to 135 in my experience.

Part 91/corporate is a whole different world! For the size of the town, there aren't a lot of corporate positions around to often. There are a few big operators that are looking from time to time, but their hiring seems to be driven more by HR, quottas, and politics. Do the rounds at KFTY and KPDK and watch the employment boards.

Anyone know what types FlightWorks has been hiring onto recently? Are we talking Beechjets and CJs? Just curious.

Thanks

I'm sure someone will chime in, but f.w. has a less than stellar rep for being a good place to work.

I have 2 friends that work there and they both indicate it has gotten much better, but it is still charter.

flightworks has a couple gulfstreams, citations, challengers, and a few other things I can't think of.

Just FYI, Flightworks currently operates 8 Gulfstreams, several Hawkers, Citations, a few Falcons, Challengers..... the fleet consists of all managed aircraft so it will change from time to time, though.
