Corporate airlines

Anyone out there fly for or know a pilot that flies for these guys? I want to learn anything about them I can. Thanks a bunch

Take a look at the "Fractionals" forum for this type of info. There's plenty of informations over there and there are several member of this board that fly corporate or fractional.

I am pretty sure he is referring to the AIRLINE, Corporate Airlines. . i believe they are out of St. Louis.

corporate airlines, inc. is a 121 jetstream operation HQ'd in smyrna , TN. go to regional airline association. com and you'll see them. Now, they have a sister company called corporate flight management, which also flies jetstreams and a few jets. , all part 135, also, they do maintenance as well.

these two are not to be confused with corporate aircraft partners, inc.; a now bankrupt part 135 operator of jetstream 32 ep, out of cartersville, ga which served atlanta primarily.

Latest I heard from Corp Ex is that they will probably lose some of their Essential Air Service cities out of STL, but plan to pick up some smaller routes from TSA--- basically a "break-even" deal for them.

I haven't heard anything one way or the other about hiring

They applied for an got a slot out of DCA for service to ILM. The deadline passed and they werent ready to put service in, so they temporary lost the route, and will be able to regain the slot in a few months. Peidmont is now temporarily operating the route in the meantime. They also applied for an ATL-AHN route, but im not sure what the outcome was.

Hi!

Corporate Airlines is 121, as mentioned above. They mostly (only?) now fly out of STL as American Connection. They fly J32s (a J31-19 seat BAe plane with upgraded engines). You can see them in STL, mixed in with the TSA (ATR, J41 ERJs) and Chautauqua (ERJs) aircraft.

They used to also feed Midway hubbed out of RDU, and flew a couple of their own routes into ATL (NOT feeding anyone). They had a good bunch of people there-I've heard a lot of good stuff about them. The pay is LOW, however.

I think I read they changed upper management?

I believe their former CEO is now at Great Lakes. They still service BNA-ATL but do it under the American Connection colors rather than flying under their own (everything is Am.Connection now). They also service BNA-TRI.

I fly for Corpex. Our headquarters are located in Smyrna, TN.

We have a base in Nashville and in St. Louis. We serve BNA to ATL, TRI, and STL. From STL we serve IRK, QIN, TBN, MWA, PAH, OWB, CGI, LAF, MKL, BRL. All routes are as American Connection.

We have about 12 airplanes that are flying and about 3 that are parked in the weeds.

We have around 80 pilots and are not really hiring. Almost all that are hired are through recommendations.

We are no longer related in any way to Corporate Flight. We do have new management who are former Eastern Metro- Atlanta veterans.

We only fly the J-32 and most of the cities are EAS funded. I have not heard of any new routes that Trans States may want to give up for us to fly. The company wants to go back to RDU and have a base but most of the pilot group thinks this will not happen.

So basically, we the pilots are just here for today and never really sure about tomorrow.

The pilot group is a great bunch and the Jetstream is always a challenge to fly so I enjoy my job.
