I think its a Shim. The girl and I were both trying to figure it out. Consensus is that thing is a shim / heshe.

Shim: noun: Unrecognizable form of human. Could be she, could be him. Seen lurking around nightclubs dropping x, eating hummus, hugging trees, and wearing Birkenstocks.
