Has anyone successfully transitioned from machine to oral device? 
A lot of sleep centers claim the oral devices are good alternatives to CPAP/BiPAP. These are custom-made devices with minute adjustability that move the lower jaw forward to open the airway.
The FAA will allow them as long as a sleep study can be done to show that it is working and you can attest to not having any symptoms of the disorder, i.e. no daytime sleepiness, fatigue etc...
