Hi,

We are in need of a SIC who can meet the following and has a current Pro Card.

This is a two day gig to fill in while one of our pilots is on vacation. If you are available and meet the requirements below, please PM me!

Thanks Dpilot_citation

Any Commercial, Instrument, Multi-Engine, Cessna Citation Type Rated Pilot with a minimum of 2000 Total Hours as Pilot in Command; 1,000 Multi-Engine Hours as Pilot in Command; 200 Turbojet Hours as Pilot in Command; and 25 Cessna Citation Hours as Pilot in Command and who has successfully completed Manufacturer’s Approved Ground & Flight School for Cessna Citations during the 12 months preceding the flight involved.

Seems very excessive to me since we know new hire RJ FO's with as little as 1000/100 and no previous turbine time. The FAA would only require a Comm/inst/ME ratings and 2nd class med to act as SIC in this situation in a part 91 opp if I remember the FAR's correctly.

Insurance companies rule the world. We've all seen Baron jobs that require thousands of hours of multi, time in type, an approved school, an agricultral rating with a tailwheel endorsement, and a factory tour with the t-shirt to prove it.

It's constantly amazing how little we trust people to do jobs today that were done just a matter of years ago by guys with a fraction of the experience.

wait a minute......isn't a c-500 a single pilot type?

The C-500 refers to the type rating, the actual aircraft is a C-560.

Ouch on those mins. I'd be available but can't meet some of the times

it's amazing the way insurance companies are. Heck I was able to fly the lear 31a(sic and no lear type) with 2200 total and about 175 multi and 20 twin turboprop
