Quick question regarding initial pilot training at CAL:
1. Where do you stay, and double or single occupancy?
2. Pay during training (min guarantee or just per diem)?
3. How long is training?
4. On days off are you positive spaced home?
5. When do you get your ID?
6. All fo's still typed in their respective equipment type?

I did numerous searches on the boards here and found no good leads...thanks for the help!

1. Hotel near complex - Marriott or La Quinta
2. Min Reserve Guarantee + daily per diem
3. 6-8 weeks
4. Positive Spaced
5. Day 2 or 3 picture taken - ID shows up the next week
6. All FO's are typed

also it should be mentioned that per diem is round the clock from your 1st day till IOE..

If you dont break reserve guarentee you take a little bit of a pay cut coming out of training. The trick is to get the Mariott to put a fridge in your room and then bribe some on in you class with a car to drive you to the supermarket.

How long after the job offer to the start of class?

Right now they are interviewing for late November/early December for the most part. Buddy hired two weeks ago is going Nov 7th. KD will tell you after the interview what class slot you will fill if you are hired.
