Continental Pilots Offering 70-seat Scope?

2 different contracts that must be followed by company. Until we have one JCBA the company may try all their 70 seat "games' but they must still abide by the UAL block hour scope and the CAL 50 seat scope clause. I fully expect Smilton and his gang to try and give the teens more of our flying but in the end the game will be a lost cause.
 
Yeah, I agree. I do not think the company can pick and choose which sections of the contract they like just because there is a merger. If that was the case, a high cost airline could simply merge with a bottom feeder and then just do whatever they want. I mean, if that was the case, American could buy Virgin America tomorrow and then tell the American pilots, sorry about your scope but we are going to use VA's scope and fly E190's at Eagle! Oh yeah, by the way, VA has no retirement so now you don't either! I am not saying they won't TRY to do that as they have already (unsuccessfully) with the 70 seat CAL scope, but I doubt they will get anywhere.
