.85 if we wanted and climbing at 320/.77. it will due .82 like butter. the wing loves speed.

we can also goto FL410.

i do believe the 170 and 700 have the same engines.

the 170/190 is a passenger friendly airplane. the 700 is not. i'm lazy and would like the 170 simply for not ducking during a walk around (or limiting them).

Who freaking cares? It's still an RJ being flown for a #$%ing regional for regional wages.

Correction -- Not and "RJ" but it is flown for regional wages. :puke:

Last I checked, we're paid by the hour. And if you're doing .85, which I highly doubt, unless ISA is -20, you're not being efficient at all. The wing loves speed? Do you even understand aerodynamics? Why do so many people care about altitude. The airplane I'm getting ready to fly goes .855, can fly in the 40's, and weighs 850,000lbs. Na na na :rolleyes:

Not the same engines, CF34-8E/10E for the 170's Rj's got the -8C1

Slowing for us....lol please

The only way your gonna get .77 in the climb is at 100/fpm
 
Yeah, the CRJ-700 clearly out-performs the 170. Then again, the 700 out-performs everything other than the 757.

Mach .77 - .80 in the climb. 1000fpm up to 33k-35k depending on weight

Of course at the low altitudes we're doing Mach .62. ChaChing!

Gotta love PPAS ;)
 
Oh yeh, you think your sweet -700 is fast? In the Saab, if she's hot and heavy, we can do like, 140 KIAS all the way up to like, 17 grand and still get almost 600 FPM outta her! What a bird! Thanks Sweeden!
 
shell game.

take 30 or so EMB145's from us airways, paint them cont. Add 175's 2/1 for us airways.... worry about the other 30 later. (DL 135's for the rest-replaced 2/1 with 170's for DL)

hate the game, not the player...

problem solved.
