Good to see some of the finest pilots in the industry who put up with some of the most severe BS of any airline finally getting their chance to upgrade.

Amazing to me that EWR Q-400 capt went junior to Saab Capt with an 08' hire being awarded the Q. perhaps a pay raise might help get some of the senior guys over to the Q?
 
Did they learn how to properly sleep on the couch in upgrade class? I would imagine the automation of the Q would help with the more junior upgrades, on a side note.

Beyond harsh, but obviously not nearly as harsh as a comment about XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

wow, cause obviously pull up wasn't quite the correct response. Why don't you change that man-pon and do something constructive for your chosen career.
 
I think street captains are in the future again for CJC. There is just no way that with 45 or so airplanes coming in the next (2-3yrs?) We don't have enough qualified FO's. What does everyone else think? Anyone know how long the training is for transition to Q?
