VERY good.

Starting was either 85k or 95k plus 10% annual bonus. Don't remember the exact amount as I didn't take notes.

Schedule known well in advance with ample days off (unschedulable).

Your only chance to be hired there is to have an internal recommendation. Published minimums don't mean anything. A former co-worker of mine was hired there with about 2500 hours. The same fellow that was flying a CJ single pilot at 1500 hours.

They have a base in Boise. I know most of the pilots there, and they are very happy with Conagra. Great pay, retirement, and schedule.

What kind of place would let you fly a CJ single pilot at 1500 hours?
A charter operator in SoCal. The DO had the capability (insurance-wise) to sign off anyone he wanted.

Funny you bring up the Con Agra job
i'm a flight instructor here in omaha and my brother
who will be furloughed by american interviewed for the job just the other day
doesn't look good for him cause he won't give up his senority #.
i know about everyone that flys for them and if your intersted PM me for #'s
Brossia

brossia7--He can write the letter and send it in. AA will not accept a resignation while on furlough. Recall is a contractually guaranteed right. He's not thinking this through. Besides, once he gets the cool aid out of his system, he may actually find that Conagra might provide a better quality of life than AA.

Oh well, maybe someone who really wants to stay there will get the job.TC

I'd take Conagra over American any day. But, that's just me.

What's it like living in Omaha? Cost of living? Stuff to do? Like's/Dislike's about the city/surrounding area?
