Anyone know what aircraft Conagra Foods has?? I've seen a Lear45. Do they have a GIV??
The last time I was on a trip out there, about 6 months ago(My comp. parks at their hangar) They had a G-IV, and a bunch of Lr-45's. They also have a few other bases, which escape my memory. The folks that run the Flight. Dept. are very nice, and sounds like a great place to work! The waiting area is made up of all WWI artifacts, and the feeling around the hangar from other crews I spoke with is that their very happy.

I know two of their flight crews, and they are both extremely happy working there.

Bases SNA and OMA, I believe.

Here is what I've found on the Conagra Fleet:

N822CA LJ-45
N823CA LJ-45
N824CA G-IV
N825CA LJ-45
N828CA LJ-45
N865CA LJ-45
N866CA LJ-45
N886CA LJ-45
N889CA LJ-45

The following are leased thru Wells Fargo, I believe they are a part of the Conagra fleet as well:

N826CA LJ-45
N863CA LJ-45
N882CA LJ-45

Also, I think Conagra has a base @ DPA

They are hiring (as of 11/20/04), it may have been filled but it's still posted on their site.

Yep!

ps. don't you mean "last night's slaughter?!" :D

VERY good.

Starting was either 85k or 95k plus 10% annual bonus. Don't remember the exact amount as I didn't take notes.

Schedule known well in advance with ample days off (unschedulable).

Your only chance to be hired there is to have an internal recommendation. Published minimums don't mean anything. A former co-worker of mine was hired there with about 2500 hours. The same fellow that was flying a CJ single pilot at 1500 hours.

They have a base in Boise. I know most of the pilots there, and they are very happy with Conagra. Great pay, retirement, and schedule.

What kind of place would let you fly a CJ single pilot at 1500 hours?
A charter operator in SoCal. The DO had the capability (insurance-wise) to sign off anyone he wanted.

Funny you bring up the Con Agra job
i'm a flight instructor here in omaha and my brother
who will be furloughed by american interviewed for the job just the other day
doesn't look good for him cause he won't give up his senority #.
i know about everyone that flys for them and if your intersted PM me for #'s
Brossia

brossia7--He can write the letter and send it in. AA will not accept a resignation while on furlough. Recall is a contractually guaranteed right. He's not thinking this through. Besides, once he gets the cool aid out of his system, he may actually find that Conagra might provide a better quality of life than AA.

Oh well, maybe someone who really wants to stay there will get the job.TC

I'd take Conagra over American any day. But, that's just me.
