compass will not fly till september. Hey all, we can't run the three airlines we already have, maybe the fourth will be the charm. Neil C, you are our hero..... NWA, Fix your own house before building another.

what do you mean? compass has almost completely served its purpose. It got Nortwest pilots to vote for a lousy deal. If only Mesaba wouldn't be so stubborn and take it's (unneeded) concessions then compass would be a complete sucess. (without ever acquiring an airplane)

As I posted in another thread, I don't believe NWA was ever serious about Compass.

No they weren't, however, they were serious about gaining the market share from Flyi.

Well, that's a brilliant strategy...FlyI went bust, let's see if we can do better!

Who lets a bankrupt company get another certificate anyway? That's just wrong.

Of course, and they have ways of capturing it without starting a whole new operation.

Yes they do have the market share only because they now have FlyI's certificate. But it doesn't do any good unless they utilize it (i.e. acutally puting airplanes in DC so you can pick up the previous market share.) Until they do this with either Mesaba, Pinnacle or CompASS, it doesn't mean jack.

NW has got bigger issues at hand besides Compass... How about the PFAA who just voted down their contract... 80% NO....

It says they are ready to be replaced then to work for less than a full time employee at Taco Hut making Chalupas.

I'd like to purchase one of said chalupas. However, your current rates are too high, come down 28% or I'll walk down to Tiki Taco and buy one there.
