Compass hired 12 in May. They'll likely hire again in 4 months or so. They prefer to interview in to a pool.

They are hiring into a pool. Just interviewed with them yesterday. 24 month upgrade time is what they are saying. If you are hired and accepted into a class they have you come in for 2 days and then send you home with a computer based CBT training software for 30 days. After that you come back to Minneapolis (you are based there so they won't pay for hotels) for 45 days of simulator and systems ground school.

Not sure why they need to blatantly lie to people like that with the upgrade time. It will not be two years, and in fact many at Compass would consider it good news if they are at least still in their current seat in two years due to the possibility of flowback from mainline.

Anyway, hopefully those in the pool now can at least get trained and typed and current as soon as possible in case things do start moving backwards this fall.
