Compass Flying Under Pinnacle Colors

I just read this over at www.flyertalk.com , posted by a NWA FA. Does anyone know if this is true? I heard that Compass was dead in the water?

It's post #798 on page 54 of the thread "F/As vote "Hell" no (again - 31 July) on the Northwest Worldperks board. This is the post:

"I found out that Compass is operating. Flying under Pinnacle colors trying to keep the certificate safe. But the passengers don't know they're flying Pinnacle."

No its not true... plus you must have alot of time on your hands to read 800+ posts.

If it was Compass flying, it should be half of Mesaba's CRJ fleet:laugh: , look for the XJ on the tail number.

Since it gets confusing, the FAA has a handy way of telling these things. Look at the note outside the door that says, "Operated By:"

I use a simple rule of thumb: If it says, "Operated by Pinnacle," it's Pinnacle, but if it says, "Operated by Mesaba," it's Mesaba (ruled by Northwest).
