For what it's worth...

I received a MonsterJobs.com e-mail looking for simulator instructor pilots on the EMB for Compass.

The STL group should be in sims right now, as they have been there for over a month, unless they're having a hard time getting sim time, as are RAH.

1) May for the first airplane, June for the second, July for the next two and two every month there after.
2) ERJ ops projected to start Aug. 1
3) Only three Flyi guys in management, none in executive roles.
4) 10 Pilots so far (this is as of last month) all ex-Indy guys
5) so far the starting base is going to MSP.
6) They should start op's on one CRJ soon. MSP-IAD

That's all I now

Hope all you Mesaba Minneapolis guys are paying attention...Maybe a long tenure on the Saab...

The cadre 175 pilots are in STL now in class....prolly finishing systems. Some NWA pilots are negotiating the pilot contract for Compass now.

Not to doubt your info but 175 pilots for an initial cadre? That seems like a lot!!
When I talked to the training manager last month, he said that they have 50 employees TOTAL in the whole company so far.
If they just sent 175 pilots to training they would have had to hired 125 pilots within the last three weeks.
???????????

Think Embraer 175, Danielson......................

.

Also I'd like to point out that they only need pilots and flight attendants. Apparently that's all you need to run an airline. Oh....and highly paid execs.
