Commute from PHX to ABQ?

Just bouncing some ideas around in my head and was wondering what a commute from PHX to ABQ would be like. I figure if it ever fell apart you could drive it in about 6 hours, but I would rather fly. Any input?

I doubt you could drive it in 6 anyways. 7 Maybe, but it is one long boring drive once you are on I-40 going east from flagstaff, and going the southern route is really boring too and longer.

If it was a regular schedule, buying tickets in advance on SWA if you knew your schedule would be easiest.
