My close friend that works at Express Jet corporate told me yesterday that there are talks of Express Jet purchasing Commutair and that the deal is in the research stages. Now thats juicy.

Yeah already heard that a senority intergration proposal is being finalized:

1) All Commutair Pilot that voted YES to ALPA will be given Date of Hire at Xjet
2) The majority j*ckoffs that voted NO to ALPA will be stapled to the bottom

As a result, most furloughed XJet and CAL pilots will return to fly the 1900, while No Voting Commutair pilots be furloughed...

Ah cheap shot, but what can I say I've got ill will towards the no voters. Stupid rumor to even consider anyways if you know anything about the CAL and Xjet relationship.

Don't worry Commutair guys, you will be safely independent, yet still at the will of master CAL. The majority of your group is apparently ready, willing, and able to serve as a future whipsaw to the Xjet guys. Hey at least you'll get your turbine PIC, right...

Since we turned down the Houston deal (which Skywest then took) because it was "too big," I don't think you have to worry about us growing to a size that would even remotely compete with you guys or have any impact on your negotiations. Thank goodness.

That said, I hope you guys will remember the 42% of us who DID vote yes, and the organizers who stuck their necks out in vain trying to help push the bar back UP a little.
