There is going to be a opening in the Midwest that I may have a shot at (690B).

My times are: 1700TT 350 multi (BE-55 BE-58 C-414 C-421 Duchess BE-100 and currently flying C-340 part 91) I have about 75 hours of turbine.

This aircraft is operated part 91, based in the Midwest and operated in the US and some trips to Mexico.

Do you think an insurance company will cover me at "reasonable" rates? I think I have a very good chance, but the owner will pass on me if rates will increase. The pay will be about $42,000 per year with the pilot on a pager.

I think the pay may be on the low side but I was unsure.

I have a buddy that hired a KingAir E90 single pilot PIC position and the insurance company required 2500 total time, 500 multi PIC and 100 PIC make and model WITH factory approved training. You are not too far outside of that, but you might consider who is your competition? How do you compare? Are there other factors than flight experience on your side? If there are, find a way to emphasize these.

Also, if you think the pay is low, you might want a plan to change that and talk it over in the interview, or you will not be happy there for long.

I fly a Twin Commander (non-turbine) and the insurance requirements listed are typically "open pilot" minimums.

My insurance requires 2500 total, 500 multi, 25 in type, and an instrument competency and multi competency checkout EACH year.

I can add a low time pilot to the insurance for a premium. However, I recently added a 1200 total/700 multi pilot for NOadditional cost. Each individual will be judged on their merits.

So, to answer your question, yes, the insurance company could possibly give you reasonable rates. They may also require SIMCOM or Flight Safety training to supplement...
